An article published in Renew Economy magazine (a magazine dedicated to covering and examining news from the green energy industry) states that Scott Morrison, the Prime Minister of Australia, plans to invest about $ 500 million in “blue” hydrogen capture and storage technology (made not from water but from chemicals- Than or coal, and indeed produces CO2 emissions). If so, instead of investing in the fight against climate change, the Australian government continues to focus on preserving and refining its fossil fuel industry.
Ariel Malik: “We have witnessed that fossil fuels are not going to disappear so quickly. Hydrogen and ammonia-style substitutes are the real substitutes, so long-term investments in hydrogen will be successful.”
